T.G. Christopher Chernesky was born and raised in Auburn, NY.  The child of grandchildren of immigrants, he had no means to afford conventional instruction as a performer.  However he found that the rail car hoppers and freshly paroled homeless of the city were tremendously talented and willing instructors.

TGC spent years studying the art of performance from notable tramp prodigies as Smokin' Joe Jacobs, Darryl "Scats" Washington, and Leapin' Nate Witherspoon among many others.

The Great now travels the country not only playing the songs he learned on the streets of Auburn, but also performing feats of remarkable constitution, flexing his expertise in monologue, and exhibiting many other skills in front of stunned crowds.

"High 'n Dry" Philly Phillips was born just minutes outside Auburn. As an adolescent he showed great promise as an artist.  He enrolled as an art major at University of Buffalo and quickly set himself apart as the most gifted artist in his class.

Halfway through his freshman year he fell deeply in love
with a classmate named Jenny.  The two dated for three years, and it appeared the two would eventually get married.  One evening senior year, Philly hid in Jenny's apartment as a surprise proposal, he was stunned to witness that she had been having an affair with his colleague, who was actually named Privelige.

Philly was unable to shake the despair of losing his love,
and dropped out of school just shy of graduating.  His family pleaded with him to finish his art training, but he refused. They disowned him for wasting their money and he ended up "high and dry" on the streets of Auburn.  That is where he met Chernesky, who instantly recognized his artistic prowess.  He hired him to tour with him, showcasing his artistic abilities at performances.
